Terms of Use
Read the terms of use for Renew old photo APP, our AI-powered photo restoration application.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using Renew on Android, iOS, or accessing it via the web, you confirm your agreement to these Terms. Renew is developed and maintained by Olena Dorohan, who retains all intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, design rights, and database rights related to Renew.
2. License and Restrictions
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App and Website for personal and non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to: • Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative versions of the App or Website. • Attempt to access or decompile the source code. • Circumvent security measures or interfere with service operation. • Use Renew for unlawful, defamatory, or infringing purposes. Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your access to Renew.
3. User Content
Renew may allow you to upload or process personal content such as photos. You retain full ownership of your content but grant us a limited, non-exclusive, temporary license to process it solely for providing the app’s functionality (e.g., AI photo restoration, colorization, or enhancement). You are solely responsible for ensuring that: • You have the rights and permissions to use the photos you upload. • The content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws. All uploaded content is processed securely and deleted after processing as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. App Changes and Availability
We may update, modify, or discontinue certain features of Renew at any time without prior notice. While we aim to provide uninterrupted access, Renew is provided “as is” and “as available”. We are not liable for any unavailability, data loss, or interruptions due to maintenance or technical issues beyond our control.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Some features of Renew are available through paid subscriptions. By purchasing a subscription, you agree that: • Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at the time of purchase. • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. • Renewal charges are applied within 24 hours prior to the end of the subscription period. • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device’s account settings (App Store / Google Play). Renew adheres to the applicable Apple Standard EULA (Apple Terms (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/)) and Google Play Terms of Service.
6. Data and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and login credentials. We strongly discourage “rooting” or “jailbreaking” your device, as it may compromise security and functionality. For details on how we collect and handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights related to the Renew App, Renew Website, and associated intellectual property are owned by Olena Dorohan. Logos, trademarks, designs, AI processing tools, and other assets are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. They may not be used, copied, or modified without prior written permission.
8. Third-Party Services
Renew integrates trusted third-party providers, including but not limited to: • Firebase (Google) – infrastructure and analytics • OneSignal – push notifications • RevenueCat – subscription and purchase management • Amplitude – usage analytics These providers operate under their own privacy policies and terms. We are not responsible for their independent practices, but we select partners that align with industry privacy standards.
9. User Responsibilities
When using Renew, you agree to: • Maintain an active internet connection for proper functionality. • Bear any mobile data or third-party charges associated with your usage. • Ensure your device remains powered and functional while using the App. We are not responsible for performance issues caused by poor connectivity, device failure, or unauthorized modifications.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Renew is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind—express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Olena Dorohan is not liable for: • Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; • Data loss or corruption; • Issues arising from the use or inability to use the App or Website.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Renew if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. Upon termination, your right to use Renew will immediately cease. Sections related to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnity will survive termination.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Olena Dorohan, her affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of Renew or violation of these Terms.
13. Feedback
Any feedback, ideas, or suggestions you provide become the property of Olena Dorohan. We may use your feedback to improve Renew without obligation to compensate you.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Revised Terms become effective immediately upon publication. Your continued use of Renew after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in Poland and the European Union (EU). Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of competent Bulgarian courts.
